Bernie is a precious little Boston Terrier puppy with special needs. She was surrendered to the shelter at just 4 mos. old and it was quickly apparent that she had had little to no contact with humans. She has come a long way since being in foster care but she is still extremely shy and guarded around people. She will need an adopter who has experience with dogs and can give her the time and patience she will need as she learns to trust. No one can prove my exact breed, but one of the wonderful volunteers at the shelter said that I look just like a Border Terrier! So , that is what they think I am!
